Underlayment for an unventilated roof

I'm planning to put a metal roof on my house this spring. I'd like to use a peel and stick underlayment for the whole roof just for the added protection. My only concern is that parts of the roof are unventilated. I don't know if this is a significant concern or not. If so, what considerations do I have in selecting an underlayment. Pertinent info: The pitch is about 6/12, winds of 70 MPH are common- usually dry but sometimes with rain or snow. Snow load is generally less than 6" at max, most of the time the snow blows away before melting. Rain can occur for days at a time. Thanks for the help! Greg Brainerd

I would avoid using a non breathable underlayment on the non vented areas. Can you add ventilation? Todd Miller
