I'm considering a metal roof on a low-pitch addition. I climb on top of this roof several times annually to clean windows and gutters, so I would like to know if there are any problems with being able to walk on them? I don't want to risk any damage to it, but I will need to be able to get on them from time to time.
Is this something one can do or should there be some kind of additional reinforcement added to allow this activity?
Thanks!

First of all you must choose a metal product that is suitable for your low pitch roof. That could be a big issue.
Most of those products though are pretty easily walked. If you're concerned, you could lay planking or plywood down on the roof and walk on that.
