I have a balcony off my bedroom that has aluminum as the top surface. It apparently has leaked before and it looks as though they repaired it with tar that has shrunk up and cracked now. What do you think about putting Ice and Water Shield down to protect the surface? Do you have any other suggestions? Would it be ok to put metal back over the Ice and Water SHield or should I try something else for the walking surface?
