I had a barn put up and the ridge cap is straight down both sides, I have seen it called cabin ridge or snap ridge too. I know the material was all purchased somewhere around Kansas city, Missouri. I am looking for ridge cap like this to replace wind damaged pieces and can not find it. Do you know of anyplace close to St. Louis that sells this type of ridge cap? [email protected] is my email address if anyone out there knows of someplace. Thank you Dave Keller

Dave, Your ridge cap may have been made by the roofer. We make all of our own trims and flashings instead of buying the generic kind from the panel manufacturer. Just take a piece of the ridge to a sheet metal shop and they can probably make exactly what you need. Wade I assumed that you have a vertical panel. If you have metal shingles, tile or slate-that will have to come from a manufacturer. You will have to determine what brand it is. You can post a picture on this site and the people here are very helpful.
