My house is presnely a hip roof design, and
6/12 pitch, house is sinle story and is ashinglr foof, it now ahs sofet venting and two turbine vents onroof, is this sufient. and do i meed to use teh turbine vents if i put a meatl roof on, an d if i put a new shingle or metal should i use the same tubine sor get new one?

You will need some type of vent. This can be either turbine vents or ridge vents.
Depending on the shape of your existing turbine vent, you may be able to keep the one you currently have, or if its starting to corrode you may want to replace it.
The best option in many cases is to remove the turbine vents and install a ridge vent.
