we have chicken houses that have metal roofs that are about 15 yrs old and they wre installed with nails and they have leaks everywhere. we do not want to pull all the nails out, because we have 4 houses that are 80x400 ft and that would take forever. we have discussed silicone over the holes but i want to know if that is the best solution.

Butyl or uethane caulk would be better ... or pull the nails and replace with larger diameter grommeted screws. Todd Miller
