when i built my house i ask the carpenter should we just skip teh dormor behind the chimney. not dont do that. it is a serious problem, this summer i got a friend to build me a small dormer behind the chemney and we got it all done except at the point where the ridge cap meets the roof there is no cap i think there needs to b a cap to cover up the whole ridge end and send water down teh chanels,. i need help and would like to purchase one. i need help yesterday thakn u charlie

This will have to be custom-made by an experienced metal roofer or sheet metal crew out of matching coilstock. There is no standard part for this. Todd Miller
