can you harm your steel roof by walking on it to remove ice and snow? My roof has been leaking and needed to remove the ice and snow inorder to have it fixed. Sure hope I did the wrong thing

You can walk on almost all metal roofing without damaging it if you are careful. Always be careful, especially if there is ice or snow on your roof.

thanks for your reply, I am also having a terrible time with the screws popping on this roof, constantly leaking, I have had to have it fixed twice this winter. this roof is on a mobile.

You may want to have the screws replaced with higher quality and bigger diameter screws. Todd Miller
