Is standing seam a better method than srew down when it comes to leak possibilities. I've been told that a screw down roof will more than likely leak within 5 years whereas a standing seam roof should never leak. What is the truth?

Jim,
The issue you have with TTP (through the panel fastened) metal is the neoprene washers do dry out and deteriorate, thereby being a possible leak source in 12 to 15 years.
