Hello, I just installed a corrugated tin roof on a 16X20 studio in the backyard. Everything went great but the last section of ridgecap I put on. It is way off center so I want to redo this 10' section. This will lead to some exposed crew holes. What would you reccomend to patch these holes? Also, The tin I got was from Lowes and I heard it will begin to rust within a couple of years. Is there any kind of a sealent I could use to prolong the life of this roof?

Chances are the information you have been given regarding rusting in a couple of years is wrong. Admittedly, though, I do not know exactly what you have. For sealing holes I would suggest a butyl or urethane caulk. Todd Miller
