Installing low profile ridge panels on 1x4 battens over existing 2 layer asphalt shingle roof. Encountering a few areas with light vertical swags. They are not eye catchers when looking at the original roof, but when batten is laid, they become very obvious. Appear to be dips between trusses. I've inspected for damage and roof is solid in all these areas.Concerned that this will be extremely visible with new roof. Have ran string level line and swags run from approx. 18 - 30 inches wide with a max depth of 3/4 inch on worst area. Average max. depth of dips is 1/8 -1/4 inch.I'm looking for any suggestions on proper way to level my battens to achieve the best finished appearance.
