Protective Plastic problem

Hello I am working on my roof and ran into a pannel that I can not remove the protective plastic on. Of course the panel is now installed and would be VERY difficult to remove. Is there a trick. All the other panels the plastic came off no problem. Just this one piece. I have tried heat and elbow grease so far and at the current rate it will take about 2 weeks to get the plastic off. Any help would be great. Jon

I went through the same dilemma. The only thing that worked the best (even though it's still not an easy process)is to keep it soaked with WD-40 and work it off with a rubber or plastic squeegee.

I would suggest contacting the roofing manufacturer for their input. Todd Miller

Funny you say that Rustyjames. That is what I had also found that worked the best. I think that I will have one extra panel left when I am done so as much as it kills me to replace the one piece of ridge vent I think it will be easier to replace then repair... I am going to rent a lift to finish my roof and will do it then.
