Metal Roof Installation Question

We are looking at purchasing a home in the area that has a metal roof. The home is 15 yrs old and has withstood some big hurricanes. The roof looks great and there are no leaks to be found. The home is also completely metal framed as well. The metal roof is attached directly to these metal frames. Our inspector said he had not ever seen a metal roof attached directly to the framing without a membrane of some sort. Question, is this standard for a metal framed house or could it be a problem in the future.

Nothing overly unusual. I would make sure that they have good attic ventilation or some other method of avoiding attic condensation. Todd Miller
