Metal Roofing over A Membrane Roof

I have a project where the roof slope is 1/4" / 12". Most manufacturers recommend 1/2" / 12" as a minimum as does the NRCA Roofing and Waterproofing Manual (5th ed). I've noticed in previous postings you say that some products can work down to a 1/4" / 12" slope is there any special treatments that you would need to provide for such a flat pitch? Specifically, I was wondering if providing a membrane system under the metal roof would be an appropriate solution?

This would need to be a mechanically seamed standing seam approved for such low pitch and installed per manufacturer instructions.
