We are installing a tin roof over asphalt shingles and if it rains before we finish the project will it cause problems under the tin?

You don't say what you are doing at the eave or if you are attaching the metal roof to stringers as opposed to directly to the asphalt shingles. If you would like, you may contact me directly at [email protected] and we can discuss.
