I was wondering by adding a solar attic fan with a thermostat along with a ridge vents will cool the attic. Also, I have been reading about metal roofing vs shingles, which ones is the best? The fan could help but you must have intake vents to bring air in. Also, you need to think about airflow in the attic and trying to get as complete of air exchanges as possible.
