We would like to install a metal roof over a flat/rolled roof. It is an old commercial building, mono-pitch, between two other buildings. The front wall and side walls are higher than the existing roof surface. How is the metal roof best built and attached and flashed next to these three existing walls? This is the shop front, sorry, no roof pics available.

First of all metal roofing is not designed for completely flat roofs, although it can go on roofs with a very low pitch. Some metal roofing can be installed on roofs with a 1/4:12 pitch. Most of the types that do this low of sloped roofs are concealed fastened standing seam systems. Click on the Manufacturers link above and check out some of their websites. That being said, provided you have at least a little slope you can install it in a situation such as yours. Actual flashings used will depend on the product you choose. Most of them will have an endwall flashing at the top where it butts into the wall, a sidewall flashing at the two sides where it butts into the wall, and some type of eave trim at the gutter end. Again this is only general information. Once you decide which product you want, you should be able to obtain installation instructions from the manufacturer, either on their website or by calling them.
