I have a 5 year old silver (unpainted) metal roof on my coastal home. A contractor put a number of scratches on the roof while stucco'ing my chimney. Is there any way to repair/recover the scratched areas. The scratched areas are on the roof in an area clearly visable from the street. Thanks

You should be able to obtain matching touch up through the roofing manufacturer. Use it on the scratches and be careful not to "slop it around" too much. Never use aerosol. Todd Miller

Aerosols tend to "fog" when they are applied and then some of the thinly coated areas fade rapidly and in a couple of years the roof is polka dotted. Todd Miller
