Have a difficult question to ask.. Have a new Metal Roof Installed, very satisfied however my Question consernes installation of same. With my roof being kinda strange, its a rancher with part of the roof without a downslope. By that I mean the Roof goes up but their is no down slope to it.Hopefully this is Clear. Now My Question is if some kind of Top should have Been installed on it or was it done properly without anything covering the very top.

Sounds like your talking about a one sided roof? If so you they need to install a flashing called a clearstory,it goes over the top of the panels and down the exposed face covering the end of the panels

Yes, you need to flash this off with a flashing that goes over the roof and down the fascia. Todd Miller
