install s/seam over tar & gravel

what are the guide line to install standing sean aver tar & gravel?does it all need to be removed or could you sweep the gravel away install and underlayment then s/seam

Standing seam needs a smooth surface. It depends on how smooth you can sweep it. Todd Miller

I would like to install a standing seam over a 2 in 12 pitch fully adhered EPDM, which has been installed over a smooth surface built up roof. It would seem tedious (tricky) to torque all the screws the same, but willing to try. How about condensation issues?
