Building on remote island, ocean front. Getting various opinions on type of roof. Painted galvanized steel, painted galvalume or plain galvalume Aluminum is not in our budget. Looking at a 5v. Have been recommended that the metal is phosphate treated prior to painting, so far have not found a manufacturer even aware of this. So looking for expert advise. Standing seam is not in our budget and the local workforce is most familiar with shingles. We need to order asap. THanks
