We are in need of a new roof and are considering going with metal. We have been shown 2 different types. A type that looks like regular asphalt shingles without exposed screws and a shake type that has exposed screws. I am wondering which you would recommend.

Suzanne, I am sorry but as a trade association we cannot "recommend" certain products over others. I would ask them if they are members of the Metal Roofing Alliance and also if their products meet requirements put forth under the Metal Construction Association Certified Roofing Panel program.
