New screened porch, 12x26 w/metal roof being constructed, western exposure, very humid, hot climate. Shed roof, low slope. For future use as a glassed in room, which insulation is best to install right up front: blown-in closed-cell foam or bat type? How? Under decking? Under roof? Ventilation needed? Architectural drawings enclosed. Many thanks.

Closed cell sprayed to the bottom of the decking will provide insulation and act as a vapor barrier to prevent condensation. Todd Miller
