Is there a location where I can get some specific detail for in-situ testing to make certain that the field installation is being performed satisfactorily?

It is impossible, in the field, to reproduce the wide variety of weather extremes which a roof installation might face. These extremes include wind driven rain, snow, ice, temperature swings, etc. Additionally, there can be installation problems which might not manifest themselves in leaks for 3 - 4 years after the job is completed. Most quality roofing manufacturers will have manuals available as well as area inspection reps. If you have concerns about the correct installation of your roof, I urge you to contact the roofing manufacturer and express those concerns and ask for their assistance.
