I have applied steel roofing over 2X4 horizontal strapping on 2X6 spruce rafters.( no roof sheating),,,,,,, I was planning on insulating between the rafters with styroform sheets to provide the air barrier, mineral fibre R20 batts and then a 10 mil poly vapour barrier. The whole system is vented at the eaves and ridge as per manufacturers specs,,, Will this keep the condensation down appropriately???? Is the styrofoam an appropriate air barrier ?????
