After contacting a few manufacturers and distributers, it seems the metal roofing industry is not very DO IT YOURSELFER friendly. Why is that, or am I contacting the wrong people?

Dpending upon a wide variety of factors, metal roofing can be fairly easy or very complicated. Obviously, a lot depends upon the skill set of the individual. Please contact me at [email protected] and I will be happy to get more information from you and see if we can determine what the best solution will be for your situation.

I believe the metal roofing industry as a whole is fairly DIY friendly, you just have to know where to look. This forum is a great place to start. Also look on the manufacturer's website of the company making the metal roofing you are interested in. Most will have detailed installation guides. Otherwise you can call and they will usually fax or email them to you. Todd, a gentleman who moderates this forum is a great person to ask advice from.
