I want to have a metal roof installed, but I also need new helmeted gutters. There might be some wood that needs to be replaced. My yard is full of mature trees. What is the recommended sequence of installation? I'd like to get started immediately, but I suspect that I might need to wait until spring because some painting might be involved.

The key would be to choose the metal roof and manufacturer you wish to have installed on your home and then work with them to determine a type of gutter protection system that will work with their roof. Todd Miller
