Hello, I have a small house on Rt. 522 in Huntly, Virginia. The house currently has shingles. I need to install a new roof and would like metal panels. Is it possible to put metal panels on after you've had shingles? We plan to enlarge the house in the next 5 years and would want the same metal roof on the new structure. Please advise. Thanks

This can be done with many metal roofs. Always check with the roofing manufacturer for approval and always separate the old and new roofs with underlayment. Todd Miller
