I would like to determine the uplift capacity of a standing seam roof built in the early 80's. The panels are 16" wide with 3" tall seams. The clips are at 5' and at 16". Anyone would have test results or load tables from that time? Thanks.

You need to determine the manufacturer of the roof system. They should be able to provide you with this information for the panels. The panels have to be uplift tested per ASTM E1592, so only the manufacturer will have that data. The substrate that the panels are attached to will also come into play. An engineer would need to know the pullout value of the clip fasteners into the substrate.
