where I live we get a lot of snow in some winters. I will be building a new house next spring that will have four valleys. has anyone ever laid the roofing in the same direction as the valleys? the metal would 45 on the roof and keep the snow from building in the valleys. Any comments would be appricaited. thank you

I am not aware of this being done. I would say that it could possibly be done with some panels. However, I would definitely suggest consulting with the manufacturer of the roofing you choose and working out details with them. With certain lower gauge products, this could possibly cause problems with bending over the seams. Todd Miller
