We have a 60+ year old home with the original metal shingle (tin) roof. The roof has leaked in several areas over the years which has been repaired, but we now have several leaks that we have been unable to locate and repair. So far we have been unable to locate a contractor to evaluate the roof and provide recommendations.
Should we pursue trying to find a contractor to repair the problems or should we consider replacing the roof? Is it difficult to repair the metal shingles to eliminate this problem?
