We are buying a home that has been neglected and has what apprears to be the original 100 y.o. Copper roof. There seems to be evidence of some light leaking. What are my options? Should be repair it, tear it off, or treat it? Pro and cons would be a great help. What do you treat a copper roof with? How long does that usually last? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure there really is 'treatment' for the roof but you will need to have an experienced metal roofer or sheet metal guy try to figure out the leaks.
