Some ridge vent systems have a filter in them that helps guard against insects, etc. However, I really think the issues with what you have are more involved than that. Please try to email pictures to me, both inside and outside (close-up), and I will tyr my best to help. My email is [email protected] Also, I cannot resist the comment here -- you are by no means alone on this but it really concerns me that contractos and homeowners alike would involve themselves in a metal roof sale and the homeowner not know who the manufacturer is. You may have a pretty big bone to pick with your installer over that. I mean, who is warrantying the product? What are you going to do should you have product-related problems in the future? Sorry, I will step off my soapbox. However, please send me pictures. I want to help you if at all possible!!!!! Todd Miller

Todd, I wish I read these pages before I had my Metal Roof installed. Not only am I experiencing Wind noise, insects because they used a non-screened ridge cap, condensation, water and snow in the attic becase of improper instalation in my windy area. you can email me at [email protected] Both the association and my contractor have both ignored my request
