Hi, I am building a small home. I want to use 5v crimp tin. I am getting conflicting advice about the installation. I would like to use 7/16" OSB as my sheathing with 30# felt as the moisture barrier. Can I attach the tin with screws without any runners over the OSB? I am an avid DIYer with little experience. Thanks, John Cain

You can do that, yes. In fact, I think it is the recommendation of most manufacturers. Todd Miller

I can totally relate to being DIY with no experience. I am installing Andersen windows myself with very little experience. I ordered them from http://www.advancemyhome.com and they come with excellent instructions.
