How flat of a roof can a metal roof be used on? We have a porch with a slightly sloped roof = about a 2 ft. drop for 13 feet of roof width. Water will puddle and leak though on present rolled roofing on it. I was considering rubber membrane roofing. Is this two flat of a roof slope for metal though, when leaking is a problem with shingles and roll roofing?

For roofs with less than a 2:12 (2" in 12") pitch you need to use a field-seamed standing seam metal roof system -- the only option for that low pitch. Todd Miller

This is a concealed fastened standing seam -- installed using clips -- the panes are laid on the roof and them a seamer or crimper is run down the joint to fold the metal and lock the panels together. Todd Miller
