Can anyone explain the the avilability of
built in solar tile roof ? It can serve as
a metal roof and at the same time it generate
solar enery from the rooftop. Can comment for this new technology and the names of
solar tile roof suppliers ?

Virtually any metal roof could have traditional PV panels moun ted to it.
Some manufacturers are offering "thin film" PV's laminated to their metal roofing. Check into Drexel Metals and ATAS for that as well as UniSolar.
Dawn Solar and Englert Metals have teamed up on a project of running piping beneath the roofing to collect heat.
A few of the solar research companies are working on coatings that would collect solar power. Nothing is yet commercially available though.
