We are about to start a Modular Condo project on the beach and was concerned as to the most effective material and procedure for the job. The project will have 83 units and 78000 Sq. Ft. I also have been told that Manufacturer's won't warranty it unless you ae a mile from the ocean. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. MODMAN

There are some manufacturers that have products that warranty. It does depend on the type of coating and substrate such as aluminum, galvalume, stainless, etc. There are other considerations such as building code requirements for wind and ventilation. Do more research and ask to see the product approval as it is required for the permit in FL.

It's Mississippi Gulf Coast with IRC 2003 Code. Can you send information on which coating can be warranted for coastal application? Again Thanks for the help. MODMAN

There are a lot of variables. However, I can say this, most aluminum products will carry full warranty despite salt exposure. Todd Miller
