We are interested in having a metal roof installed on our old farmhouse. We were thinking about doing the installation ourselves, if possible for two reasons. One-save money. Two-learn about the industry as a possible business.
My fiancee spent many years building houses and loved the work, which is why he wants to learn more about the metal roofing and if it would be possible for him to install it himself.

Many manufacturers offer training programs although generally for contractors some are pay for use. There are alos many products that are designed for DIY but again ask to see the product manual. We carry both in our company and profide videos and manuals on how to install. Shop for the products and manufacturers on our web site.
