My wife and I are working with an architect to build our retirement home in the mountains of Arizona. The overall roofing will be cement tile, but there are two turrets that the architect has talked about putting a rusted metal standing seam roof section. We are building an old world look so it sounds good, but we can't seem to find any examples of what a rusted metal standing roof looks like.
Can anyone guide us to where we can get an idea of what this is going to look like and what issues we need to consider, noting the rusted metal will be only a small complimentary section of the overal roof!
thanks,
Joe M.

Try contacting US Steel. They make a painrted steel product that looks like rusted steel used for this purpose and should be able to direct you.
Additionally go to the find a contractor section and contact the contractors local to your area and see if they have examples.
