I am installing a elliptical roof on a house on the third floor attic area. I am wondering if there may be a diagrahm that helps me to install a custom metal roof that will tie onto the 12/12 pitch shigled roof. I plan on using just black metal 4x10 sheets that interlock through breaking the metal in opposite directions and sealing it.

Sorry. My best advice is to look up an old sheet metal and roofing company and confirm your details with them. Also the NRCA may have some installation information. I do recommend a good underlayment in the critical areas such as a self sealing ice and water shield.
