I purchased some painted metal in 3 foot by 23 foot sheets in early summer of this year.To my surprise 7 weeks ago we was going to install it and the paint was bubbled up and some of the paint and primer had come off. What is this caused from.

It could be from improper storage, depending upon the paint system. Have you contacted the manufacturer? There is a good chance that, if you repaint over the existing, the same thing will happen again. Todd Miller

What would you call improper storage. The metal did set outside.

If it sat in a way that moisture collected and was trapped between or against panels, that could damage some paint systems, especially lower grade ones. Todd Miller
