Could someone explain to me how to determine what the rake edge is as opposed to the eave edge. We are installing a standing seam metal roof. With both trims, a rake trim and an eave trim.

Different companies have different nomenclature but one part (gable or rake) is probably an L channel drip edge that goes down first and then the roof panels and then the other trim.
