I am installing a metal roof. On some days while wearing athletic rubber shoes I can easily walk on my roof to install, on others I have zero traction. Especiaaly when the roof is moist. Is there anything I can do to get better traction without messing up my pretty new roof?

First of all, I would not go up on the roof when it is wet or damp. There are some products out with names like Cougar Paws which have foam soles to help gain traction. Finally, you should always use proper PPE -- safety ropes and harnesses, etc. Todd Miller
