I was just needing a confirmation on an installation of the rake end of a peak. I attached a picture to help with the details. Basically this is a gable end with a 2" overhang. We installed rake edge down both sides and then put metal roof plastic ridge vent and the metal ridge to the point just past the beginning of the rake edge. Is this proper or did we run it too short.
