I have a roof with metal shingles with aprox. a 5/12 pitch leading down to a roof with asphalt shingles and only aprox. a 1/12 pitch. The bottom roof is leaking bad. Iwould like to put some kind of metal roof but not sure how to flash between top roof and bottom roof.

Best to contact the manufacturer of the metal shingle roof and get their recommendations. From that determine the product you need to use on the lower roof and contact that manufacturer and get their recommendations. Certainly you need to have a metal transition flashing of some sort thatextends up under the exixting metal shingle roof out over the new lower roof.
