Can galvanized roofing get wet before installing? I purchased this and the company actually stored it outside, when it was delivered it was wet between the sheets will this cause any damage? It has not started rusting yet but one contractor said this would make the coating come off if it was stacked wet.

Generally, when stacked outside, the suggestion is to have the panels tilted so as to not trap moisture. As far as whether any damage may have occurred, it depends a lot on the coating type. I would contact the roofing manufacturer and make this ibquiry with them. Also ask about the warranty they offer and whether it will still be valid. Todd Miller
