Folks: I am building an experimental round (cylindrical) structure, using pie-shape roof segments cut from stress skin panels. I need to know if it is possible to use standing seam painted metal segments, one single metal panel to cover each roof segment panel. Approximate dimentsions: 8' X 38" bottom, 10" top. I visualize an approximate 1" standing edge and cap strip. Do you think this is a logical solution, and can you direct me to a manufacturer or dealer willing to produce them? Thanks...great web site...Ed

You will not find any true standing seam products wide enough to do this but there is certainly no harm in interlocking panels on each of the roof sections either. You would then have a Hip Cap at the joints between the roof sections.
