my contractor installed metal roofing on the rafters. i am worried about vetilation, afraid that it is going to be to hot. i also live in a high humidity area. can you help me in trying to insulate. he stated thats how you put metal roofs on. worried, thanks, rhonda

First, you need to make sure that the roof has been installed in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. If it has, then you will wnat to have a vapor barrier behind the drywall on your ceilings, insulation behin that (in the floor of the attic) and then soffit vents and a complete ridge vent for attic ventilation.
