Does the color choice make a difference for cooling/heating/expansion etc? I want to install a black metal, my husband says black is bad for cooling etc., but dark green is ok. Does it matter if the roof is black, red, green, grey for any issues? Thank you

I had responded to your other similar post. Yes, color can help keep an attic cooler and reduce a/c costs. However, good ventilation can also be helpful and there are also paint systems which have reflective pigments that can be good even in darker colors.

Thank you for responding to both, I thought perhaps I had posted the first one inappropriately under the wrong subject matter. Thanks for you info
