I am going to install a Duraloc metal roof to our home. I have a contractor and his crew to help me. We do not have the "Duraloc" saws/tools to do so. The manufacturer is telling us we have to use these saws and to buy them is extremely expensive. Can we use something other than the Duraloc saw? Please give us your suggestion.

I do not think it is a saw so much as a cut-off guillotine. You want to cut steel roofing with a shearing action. If you contact Dura Loc direct, I feel sure they will give you some options.
